When the entire cryptocurrency market capitalization was worth less than 4 million dollars, I dropped everything to pursue what I knew was the future. Shortly after, I was being interviewed by Newsweek, WSJ etc. for what would be the first pieces about Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency ever written in those publications. The marketing playbook that I put together including certain phrases are still being repeated over a decade later softened the mainstream media and indeed paved the way for mainstream bitcoin adoption.

I call crypto a Promethian technology whose freedom comes to society as a double-edged sword. As early as 2011, accompanying my evangelism of bitcoin and crypto, I gave warnings. These were not heeded. From my prediction of the demise of MtGox to the collapse of FTX regulations imposed on crypto exchanges have only served to serve power and not even done the base prerequisite to serve the people. I know this better than most because for the past many years I have shunned the spotlight as I sought to expose and indeed did expose the theft, fraud and corruption from a company I founded, once the second largest crypto exchange.
